My sister, Sharon, just sent me the pictage.com link to the wedding photos...I don't know that I can find the words to thank you for what you captured for us that day. It was an incredibly special (and long awaited!) event for all of us - a day that was full of joy and pure happiness. You captured that on film, and then some. Your documentarian style mixed with your intimate organic nature, well, I can't get over it. As trite as it may sound, thank you for giving us these visual memories that we'll have forever.

Hello Amy,

Thank you for all your time and support this past Saturday at my wedding on Deer Isle. I felt totally at ease with you, and you kept me calm. Thanks for not being one of those photographers who forces you to put on tons of makeup and do lots of elaborate poses. We truly felt that your presence was calming and encouraging during such a crazy time. I realize you've done tons of these sorts of events - but hope you felt welcomed by all present.

we have been enjoying the photographs WAY TOO MUCH!!!! i'm supposed to be studying surgeries, and instead I always seem to drift to the photo webpage.  Stew and I cannot believe how beautiful they came out.  I love the combination of color, black & white, fun, serious, artistic, classic.... they are better than I ever could have imagined!!!  Stew has already ordered a ton.

and I think a formal album would be wonderful!

PS   By the by, our parents LOVED their albums! The pictures made their way to every family gathering throughout the season, and were oooohed and aaaaahed over by four generations of Gottshalks and Parenteaus. Thank you for your generous help in creating the albums, it's safe to say they will be loved for many, many years to come.

Working with Amy was a dream! Her thoughtfulness, professionalism and creativity were evident in every one of our interactions. She listened to our concerns and came up with unique and successful ways of handling timing and family situations. During our ceremony and reception, Amy and her assistant faded into the background, appearing every so often to craft special images in inventive locations Amy had scouted on the property. Her presence was so lightly felt that a reoccurring refrain once we saw the final images was, "I didn't even know she was there!". The artistry of the resulting photographs took our breath away. We now have hundreds of poignant images commemorating the happiest day of our lives. Honestly, I can't recommend Amy Wilton highly enough.
